Communicating Effectively About Racism

A Circle Discussion on Non-Violent Conversation/Action

with Rev. Willard Bass of the Institute for Dismantling Racism and Rev. Christy Clore

Do you get tongue tied when a total stranger makes a disturbing remark in your presence?  Are you frustrated with your ability to communicate effectively when racism emerges in conversations with family members or co-workers?

In these community gatherings we address "difficult conversations" about race.  We invite you to bring stories from your own experiences to share with the group.  Together we will work out a range of possible solutions.

What you learn here will also be useful for engaging in difficult political conversations and other realms of conflict.

We meet monthly.

Join us for our next meeting on:

March and April meetings cancelled due to coronavirus quarantine.
