Fridays 9:00am - 10:15am

Feel tight or stiff? This class will move slowly with longer time to hold each pose, allowing you to relax into each posture finding the right amount of gentle stretch. Connect with your breath, bring your focus inward, and make your practice a moving meditation. Class may target a specific area, hips or shoulders or work toward a peak pose, or an all over-whole body stretch.

(All class passes are valid for 4 months and are good for both Sue's Tuesday and Friday morning classes.)

Yoga with Marilyn Granger



Move the body to enter into stillness without tension.

Breathe consciously to soothe the nervous system

Focus the mind to repattern thoughts.   


Spend an hour to unwind and renew your set point. Classes will vary with a mix from gentle movement, restorative postures, breath awareness to guided relaxation.

Marilyn Granger, MD, RYT-500


is a practicing psychiatrist of over 30 years and a yoga practitioner of 18 years.  She received her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College and her psychiatry training from Brown University.  Dr. Granger initially completed her 300 hour yoga teacher training at Triad Yoga Institute in Greensboro, N.C. then went onto complete her 500 hour yoga teacher training from the American Viniyoga Institute. She then completed the American Viniyoga Institute Yoga Therapy Training.   She is a certified Yoga therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapist (IAYT). She has a level II training in Emotional Freedom Technique. She has explored transpersonal realms through Stan Grof’s Holotrpoic Breathwork.

Dr. Granger’s path has also intersected with shamanic practices.


Her ventures from the transpersonal to the science of medicine provides her with a rich perspective of body, mind, and spirit relationship.  She likes to explore ways to apply the ancient teachings of yoga to the modern world of medicine and health.
