Have things been feeling a little hectic, chaotic, and noisy lately?
Perhaps you're curious about doing a silent retreat, but the thought of 3, 5, or 7 days overwhelms you?
Cultivate awareness and presence in community and solidarity -- with no obligation of small talk or introductions, free of judgments, and full of self-compassion. This day is about you, it is for you, and it is the ultimate self-care. No cell phones, no texting, no internet. Safety measures have been established so you can freely put your phone away for 6 FULL BLISSFUL HOURS.
The registration fee of $95 includes morning herbal tea, nourishing vegan lunch and dessert,
mindful journal, worksheets for practice.

SPACE HOLDER - ALEXIS OVERSTREET, MSW, LCSW, LCAS,
is a therapist who is led to hold space for others to find solitude and to rejuvenate. She is a state Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, and practitioner of mindfulness and meditation. She has introduced mindfulness practice to clients struggling with anxiety, depression, and addiction, and has had the honor to witness the transformative and healing power of mindfulness practice. She wholeheartedly believes that compassion in our community begins with a deep and intimate connection with self. She plans to offer regular silent retreats at 18 Springs.
